Accommodation and travel

The conference is organized at the University Residential Center of Bertinoro, situated in Bertinoro, a small village on a scenic hill with a wonderful panorama, in between Forlì and Cesena (about 50 miles south-east of Bologna, 15 miles to the Adriatic sea). Bertinoro is close to many splendid locations (such as the Republic of San Marino and the nearby Gradara, San Leo, and Urbino) and can also be a base for visiting some of the better-known Italian locations such as Bologna, Ravenna, and Firenze.

Bertinoro from Bologna airport:
The international airport "G. Marconi" is connected to the Bologna central railway station through the AEROBUS shuttle service. The trip takes approx. 20 min. Then, by train (visit the Trenitalia web site) the trip takes approx. 45 min from Bologna to Forlì. From the train station of Forlì, it is possible to take either a taxi (Bertinoro is about 13 km far) or a bus from the near bus station (visit the bus service web site). In particular, when exiting from the train station you can find the bus station called "Forlì Punto Bus" at about 50 mt. on the left. From the bus stop of Bertinoro, follow on foot the slope to the top of the hill to reach the University Residential Center. The walk takes approx. 10 min.

Bertinoro from Forlì airport:
From the airport "L. Ridolfi" it is possible to take either a bus to "Forlì Punto Bus" (that is about 5 km far), or directly a taxi to Bertinoro (that is about 8 km far).

How to Reach Bertinoro (a guide from the web site of the University Residential Center).
